How Lucky Am I? I'm <----This Lucky---->
Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of meeting author, Jeaniene Frost at Borders Books for the reading and signing of her latest release, Eternal Kiss of Darkness. I can't begin to describe how excited I was to finally meet one of my favorite authors (singing) IN THE WORLD (stop singing)--and NOT have to stand in line for 9 hours or get hustled in and out for a 30 second convo. The weather was HORRIBLE!! Like SUPER BAD thunder and rain but we all stuck it out.
Frost was engaging, entertaining and she pumped the audience of 30+ fans for questions. She shared her thoughts on writing, her characters and read the first scenes from Eternal Kiss of Darkness and her short story about Cat and Bones in her recent anthology, Death's Excellent Vacation. OK-- FAN-TABULOUS EVENT #2! (I know amazing huh?)
So on Saturday, Carolina Romance Writers presented a writing workshop given by science fiction romance author Linnea Sinclair!!! She presented a fun and informative workshop on Character Torture - Creating Conflict with your Characters.
Sinclair is funny -- no I mean it. Seriously. She had the entire crowd enthralled and cracking up with her humor and insight for writing strong conflict. Needless to say - she's got it nailed down. Here are a few of her most recent titles:

Ah! i'm jealousy you got to meet Jeaniene. She's one of my all time favorite authors. :)
Awesome!!! I love Jeaniene Frost books! I met her at RWA last year and she was super nice.
I have yet to read Linnea Sinclair..but I have some of her books in my tbr..I have heard great things :)

Too bad most authors don't come to Quebec, Canada =(
