This side of the Grave is Book 5 of Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress Series and once again, she takes readers on a gut-wrenching ride of excitement, action and over- the-top badassness with our favorite vampire couple, Cat and Bones. When they’re sucked into another skirmish with the ghouls, Cat and Bones reach out to old friends and somewhat friendly alliances to help avoid an all out war between ghouls and vampires.
After four great novels, readers may wonder – where can Frost take Cat and Bones? The answer – to the next level! This side of the Grave really takes brings Cat full circle with her life as a newly turned vampire and her relationship with Bones. I’m always amazed (in a good way) with how Frost continues to build Cat’s character within her story lines. Gone is the immature half-vampire we were first introduced to. We now enjoy the snark and thrill of a smart thinking, ass-kicking full vampire who still has a knack for getting into trouble.
I’m happy to say that characters from Frost’s Night Huntress World Series make an appearance as well. Cat and Bones reach out to the newly mated Mencheres and Kira for assistance. Then Spade and Denise pair up with Cat and Bones for an assignment that will make you see double. We also get some awesome snark from our favorite vamps, Vlad and Ian. I seriously can’t wait for their stories in the Night Huntress World Series.
This Side of the grave was all that and more and I can’t wait to get my hands on Book 6!

I Love this series. So glad for a review.

I love this series and it's my favorite ever. Can't wait to read this book and so glad to hear all the gang appears.
I had the exact same reaction. I loved spending times with a married Cat & Bones. ...now I'm ready for more. LOL
